1.0 Individual Account Registration
- Online account opening is only for individual.
- Phillip Capital does not offer joint accounts.

- Choose either Futures, Securities or both.
1.2 Save Draft
- To save a draft, you must first validate your email in the next section.
- Once saved, you can revisit and edit your draft later.
- Please check your registered email (Inbox/Junk) to retrieve the draft link.

Stage 2

Important Notes
2.1 Name (As per NRIC/Passport)
- No short forms. Enter your full name exactly as per IC/Passport.
2.2 Form Of Identification
- For Malaysian, selecting MYKAD is compulsory.
2.3 Date Of Birth
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old to proceed with account registration.
- Input format DD/MM/YYYY.

2.4 Residential Address (As per NRIC)
- Exact address written on your NRIC.

2.5 Correspondence Address
- A correspondence address is where you prefer to receive mail.
- If different from your residential address, provide proof like a utility bill or bank statement.
2.7 Mobile
- When filling in the Contact Mobile with the country code for Malaysia:
- +60 (the country code for Malaysia).
- Then enter your mobile number without the starting 0.
- For example, if your mobile number is 01X XXX XXXX, you would enter it as +60 1X XXX XXXX.

2.6 Email (Validation Required)
- The provided email will be one of the primary contact channels for Phillip Capital.
- Kindly follow the steps below to validate your email.

3.0 eKYC Verification
- Please use your mobile to scan the QR code and proceed with the CTOS eKYC verification.
- Kindly complete before the deadline.
3.1 Session Expired
- If expired, please contact Leo for a new QR code.


If the QR code is scanned successfully, the image will appear.
3.2 Check Your Details
- Check Your Name and IC Number.
- If the input information is incorrect, do not proceed and contact Leo.
- Read and select the checkbox to proceed with ekYC verification.
3.3 Permission For Camera
- Click Yes, Continue.
3.4 Guideline Taking Photo IC
- Click Get Started when you are ready.




3.5 Upload Front NRIC
- Click the camera icon.
3.6 Upload Back NRIC
- Click the camera icon.
3.7 Record Few Seconds Selfie
- Fit into the frame.
- Do not use flash.
- Remember to smile and blink eye during recording.
3.8 Verification Completed
- You may wait 7 seconds to redirect or just click the link.

- For retirees, providing previous employment details is compulsory.
- For homemakers or those seeking employment, previous employment details are optional.
- For students, provide details of your University/College.
4.1 Registration Number (Own Business)
- For self-employed or business person, provide new 12-digit business registration number format.
4.2 Number Of Years In Employment/Business
- How long you have been working in current job or running a current business.

What is Domestic Borrowing?
Under BNM regulations, having one loan or credit facility from a Malaysian financial institution or qualifying domestic source qualifies as domestic borrowing.

9.0 Domestic Credit Facility
You need to select your domestic credit facility status based on your situation:
(a) Malaysian Resident With Domestic Borrowing
- You have loans or credit facilities in Malaysia.
- If you have domestic borrowing, you can invest up to RM1 million per calendar year in foreign assets. Beyond this limit, BNM approval is required.
(b) Malaysia Resident Without Domestic Borrowing
- You do not have any loans or credit facilities in Malaysia.
- No limit on foreign investments.
(c) Not Malaysian Resident
- Not subject to these restrictions.
If your situation changes, you must update Phillip Capital immediately.

- We recommend drawing your signature on a blank paper, then taking a photo and uploading it. This helps ensure a more consistent signature compared to signing on a device.
